Well, we made it through a very mild winter and now it is  sometimes very breezy.  The Oak trees are dropping their golden leaves and growing bright green new leaves at the same time.  I love walking through the leaves and feeling them fall on my head.  The White Cypress are beginning to get some little green knobs now too.  It is early for spring but warm weather will do it.

The wild peacock os hanging around and he made it through the winter with us.  Wonder where he came from?  He is beautiful, that tail is growing back and is about 5 feet long now.  He is an Indigo Blue Peacock.   Send me a blog….this is Judy

The Canyon is quiet this time of year, the animals  are keeping warm and safe at night and early morning until the sun comes up over the mountain.  Today it was about 50 degrees here and there were many people out riding bicycles and jogging.  Some watching birds as well.  We have guests at the cabins fromSan Diago California and they are loving the beautiful sky, woods, creek, animals, birds and just the quiet serene comfort of the Canyon itself.  First dusting of snow on December 26th, beautiful looking out at the creek , trees , rocks and the mountain side …

Hi, wishing all of you a wonderful Christmas with famiy and friends.  It is very cool up here, 40 degrees out this morning at 7:03.  The weather is still and the woods are quiet right now.  The turkey flock will be by any time now to say good morning and of course the beautiful wild peacock too.  The deer still come by to see if there is any thing new to eat and to get a drink from the creek.  The Arizona Cypress trees are bare now, but of course the Oak Trees are still green.  They stay green all year, losing leaves at the same time they are growing new ones.  Come visit us?

Hope all are enjoying their beautiful day, family, friends and feasting..l.Thank you to God for all we have…

Cool and breezy this morning, slow steady rain on the roof along with the dancing coatimundi…funny fellow…The smell of wet oak and pine is in the air and the creek is bubbling by us…we expect some guests today and know they will enjoy this beautiful canyon today…..
